The Zoneton Fire Protection District is an organization that is operated primarily by volunteers. Our volunteers come from all walks of life. These men and women answer the call each and every day and are a vital component to our organization.

Being a Zoneton Firefighter

• Free Training
• All firefighting gear and equipment provided
• All uniforms provided
• Fire run and training reimbursement
• Retirement package with length of service
• Opportunity for advancement

• Must be 18 years old and possess a valid Kentucky Driver’s License
• Must live within one (1) mile of the Zoneton Fire Protection District boundaries
• Must have good moral and legal standing
• Must be in acceptable physical condition
